This PSA will discuss the opportunities and scholarships Elon is able to provide students who may otherwise not have been able to attend. Sam Martin will discuss acceptance into the Odyssey Program and the Gail H LaRose scholarship that he is forever thankful for. He can discuss all the schools he applied to and why he chose Elon; specifically why the scholarship stood out to him the most. The documentary will highlight the exceptional need-based scholarship programs Elon offers and how these scholarships greatly impact the students receiving them. We will utilize b-roll of LaRose Student Commons to highlight all that Mrs. LaRose has given Elon University and include interviews of Sam’s interactions with Mrs. LaRose herself. We will include a b-roll of someone logging on to Elon's website in order to locate undergraduate scholarship information including where to find applications for the Odyssey Program and other similar programs. We will also include a b-roll of Elon’s campus including its admissions building and pretty parts of campus. The overall goal of the PSA is to offer insight into Elon’s scholarship programs and how there is possibility for anyone to attend Elon, no matter your socioeconomic status.
